There is nothing that quite compares to the joy a child’s smile brings! The flip side to that incomparable joy however, is the overwhelming sadness we feel when the children in our lives are not able to smile due to serious or even terminal illnesses. In fact, more then only sadness, families experiencing serious or terminally ill kiddos, are overwhelmed, stressed, tired, often in an unfamiliar place receiving care for their child and often unwilling to be away from them.
